49 is my age. Makes his death all the more shocking. He looked fit and healthy and I’m certainly not. RIP

This has upset me, I have an affiliation with Orient anyway as i was taken to watch them as a boy but Justin seemed a popular and successful coach, leading the club back in the direction they belong and looked lean and healthy. Like so many others, taken way too soon, may he rest in peace.

Sad news - I heard on Wednesday that he had been admitted to hospital and "was not expected to recover". RIP

He's a friend of my brother-in-laws so I am used to hearing a lot about him - always positive. Such a shock that he has died at such a young age. You always expect former athletes to long live and enjoy old age. Bless you Justin.

RIP. Shocking and very sad too, after his success at Orient and previously Newport and the warm regard he generated.
    Condolences to friends and family.

    Words from Charlie Edinburgh:

My Best Friend, My Hero and Best Dad you could ever ask for. You made all of my dreams come true and shaped me into the man I am today. I will look after the girls. Love you Big Man see you soon. So Proud

I didn't cry at the time when my friend spent 15 weeks in a Hospice and I read my poem at her funeral in 2017 ( shed my tears a year later)

I didn't cry tears of joy when we won with the last second winner at Wembley. (Though like others I felt supreme manic joy)

I haven't shed a tear yet since being told two months ago that I have Cancer and will spend the next 8 months being treated by
Tablets, injections and culminating with radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden (90% success rate so no panic)

But reading Charlie Edinburgh's words to his Dad caught me out and having a son and Daughter about the same age, the tears flowed.

    RIP Justin Edinburgh.

Leyton Orient are a great club - they help run the football league that I play in twice a week, so I’ve managed to spend some time around their ground quite a bit over the last year or so.

Below was the scene last night outside Brisbane Road. I was playing a match in the building opposite (part managed by their community trust) and was saddened to hear from the receptionist on our exit that some scumbags had just been trying to steal some of the shirts off of the wall. It has been reported in the news today as well https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9268910/leyton-orient-justin-edinburgh-memorial-tributes-stolen/

I’m back again next Monday and am planning to leave a Charlton scarf
