A little??????JamesSeed said:But don’t think it ends there folks. Please bear in mind that what goes on behind the scenes can be more complex than it seems from the outside. Also bear in mind how little face time there has been between Roland and Gerard. Despite that, much of the info Gerard receives comes from Roland, Murray or Lieven, so I’d ask for understanding if things can look a little odd at times.

The end is near I can feel it.With this publicly being out there, this will force RD's hand a little. We need this sorted and I honestly think we are very close.1

I’m more worried about it crossing the 2,000 page barrier.Henry Irving said:Six million views coming into sight.0 -
He's like Whoopi Goldberg handing over that cheque in Ghost!I think RD is absolutely dying to sell the club, but there's also a large part of him that just can't take loss and this bit is winning at the moment. I think this dilemma is driving the booking bonkers tbh0 -
Wrong!! The crossbreed 'Lesser Spotted Great Tit Dodo' is alive and well in a small Belgian town!!happyvalley said:1681, The last dodo is killed.2 -
1681 - Nostradamus said "In the sixth month, the sun rising, the Douche and the Olden Directors on the field of Mars to fight; The tired Belgian raises its eye to the heavens, sees an eagle playing around the sun and makes a false statement to which he is immediately revealed to be both a charlatan, and a fuckwit"

May well be too late for Bowyer but don't despair, The Aussies have the most successful manager in The Australian football league lined up ?superclive said:all the time this drags on.. Bowyer and players contracts remain unresolved.

Message to the Aussies get the deal done.blackpool72 said:7 million is a conciderable amount of money I must admit.
But it's still a relatively small amount when you consider how much the overall cost is of buying the club.
I know this 7 million is Rolands dept and it's his fault for not doing DD properly.
But if Roland is serious about selling and if the Aussies are serious about buying I see no reason why a compromise cannot be reached.
None of this makes sense to me.
All this his moved the goalposts you've been dealing with Roland for 18 months you know what his like.

No they didn’t , I smelt a rat as did a few others early on , plenty even clung on in deference to his wealth when a blind man could see he was a twunt and useless to our clubUltimatum said:everyone thought Roland was the best thing since sliced bread at first.21 -
I have no idea what is going to happen regarding a take over, too many false dawns, but I have a strong feeling Bowyer will still be about next season regardlesssoapboxsam said:

There was, at least, hope until he sold Stephens and Kermogant and then sacked Chris Powell. Disn't take him long. All been downhill since.oohaahmortimer said:

The state of affairs considering Duchatelet's latest behaviour is:

I had some renewed hope at the start of the next season. We brought some decent players in - Vetokele, Gudmundsson, Buyens, Ben Haim, Henderson - and there was acknowledgement that the previous window's recruitment hadn't been right. That lasted until the last couple of weeks of the transfer window when even Peeters was publicly moaning that he didn't have a big enough squad to compete. Never recovered from thereCardinal Sin said:

“everyone thought Roland was the best thing since sliced bread at first.”Ultimatum said:People not wanting the Aussies, is just ridiculous. If the recent VoTV is anything to go by I can just imagine RD moving the goal posts constantly. I imagine it’s just as frustrating for them as it is for us.
We’re talking millions of pounds, yes in the grand scheme of things 7mil is not a lot in comparison to the sale. However, these people are businessmen, they didn’t get their wealth by spending 7mil willy nilly.
If they’ve stuck around this long , that shows me they have an interest to get the club to the promise land. Surely they’d have given up by now if it wasn’t worth it to them.
Just see see how it pans out with them... everyone thought Roland was the best thing since sliced bread at first.
That’s news to me, there was considerable misgivings the moment Kermorgant and Morrison were shown the door.
Yes, we were pleased to have got shot of “The Spivs” but to say we were totally enamoured with Goldfinger and his weird scheme from the word go is somewhat wide of the mark.6 -
Realise that was a joke......but to add a bit of levity to the situation, the Aussies were at Wembley and saw for themselves Bowyers achievement, there’s no way they’ll be looking elsewhere.soapboxsam said:

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Roland doesn’t sell for a couple more years.1 -

The fact they were at Wembley and saw the great subs made by Bowyer and the passion of the Charlton fans makes me hope they can finally get the deal done and overcome the loan issues.SoundAsa£ said:

Kevin Muscat.
A vital few days awaits but hope someone has got the message through to Bowyer.
When the Sunderland home game took place after Jim White's 48 hours from done deal, Lyle Taylor said he didn't believe it as the players hadn't heard a whisper.
I just hope someone is keeping Lee Bowyer in the loop.
Ps. Kevin Muscat is a Cunx.3 -
