    My Zafira has petrol cap on drivers side and little pump picture indicates this correctly. Wife has 2 year old Ka, petrol cap on off side but petrol pump nozzel on drivers side...........sorry.

    it was as leroy says implemented on older cars and some manufacturers but not all.

    Well said CE. There's still a lot of mileage in them old bus numbers! I used to catch the 99 to school in Belvedere, is it still running? I remember the diesel cap was on the nearside of the bus.

    MazdaVans have the pump AND the petrol cap on the right side.
