@Redhenry in the sense of he’s got dough, has he got lots as in billionaire or just enough to buy the club then play the under 14s every week?
Hard to gauge, he would have made decent money in the City but not hundreds of millions. It's possible he could have made some serious money in the Middle East. But my guess would be that he's got investment from elsewhere as well as his own dosh.

I'm never usually hopeful. Always negative.

I genuinely feel optimistic about this. Just have a good feeling!
Be nice to think it will happen but I don’t have such hopes

Mine have dwindled away to the old adage that when it’s done it will be announced via the correct mediums at the right times

1707, Great Britain is formed after The Act of Union.
It will be broken up by the time this takeover’s done!

I think this is definitely in connection with the Aussies

Cawley saying it’s not imminent but Dalman does have the ‘financial power to compete in the championship unlike others’

Basically confirming what some on here have thought, the Aussies don’t have the cash to be a viable option.
So maybe Roland will drop them like a lead balloon for this guy?
He obviously has few scruples so why should he worry about dropping anyone if someone with a bigger offer comes along?
He already has, Airman reports that he turned down 45 mill

Surely, not even Roland can screw this up.

He must know that (no thanks to him) this is his best time to sell the club for a decent price.

    Now or never Roland.
    I agree.
Unless he is a spiteful vindictive bastard who likes to see us suffer.
I don’t think he is spiteful, vindictive or motivated by money.

I think he views himself as a visionary and innovator, and that his wealth confirms that view of himself.

It is the visionary bit that I think makes him unreliable in that his views are fluid and subject to sudden changes in perspective and direction.

To put in layman’s terms. Mad as a box of frogs.

Yep, with Red Bull and Usmanov providing the financial clout.

Poor Aussies will be gutted if they miss out after waiting for 2 years
They might have their consortium in place by the time Dalman wants to sell the club

  • Lucky Cardiff stayed up, this would have Cardiff away, either first or last game of the season, written all over it otherwise...

Fortunately in 2019 we've moved on so that cathedrals no longer burn down
