Not again. I’m going down the Winchester to wait for the whole thing to be taken over.
( suspect I’m going to be there a while)

We are Charlton, last month we had our one day of entitled happiness this decade.

Based on that law, there won't be a takeover.

I'm not building my hopes up been there too many times. But it makes a nice change from hearing about the usual Aussies rumours. After 2 years it was getting boring.

Hearing there’s lots of talk amongst the squad that Mike Ashley is going to be our new owner, as soon as Newcastle sale goes through.
He is in the market for a London club, when he sells NUFC........

I'm never usually hopeful. Always negative.

I genuinely feel optimistic about this. Just have a good feeling!
Be nice to think it will happen but I don’t have such hopes

Mine have dwindled away to the old adage that when it’s done it will be announced via the correct mediums at the right times

Takeover by a competent owner that respects our history and the fans, and gives us a good chance of a mid-table finish in the Championship.

Or our idiot owner pisses around, scares off all bidders, sets an appallingly low budget so Bowyer and Gallen walk and we end up back in League 1 next year with the lowest ever Championship points total. And  even more debt will be added to the sale price.

Agree this is Charlton, we've had our moment of happiness....

God that took me a long time to catch up and read all of the new posts. And it still seems about 50/50 split between something happening and f all happening

So what's the odds for the 4 options do we reckon?

    1) Aussie bid

    2) Mike Ashley

    3) Dalman

    4) Duchatelet

By the time The Aussies are ready to make their move and buy the club they'll be buying it from someone else other than Roland

I can confirm that half the people posting on this thread today are right.  And half are wrong.

I cannot, however, work out which half is which.

Airman has confirmed that there is no shortage of potential buyers. Nobody is buying because Roland wants too much. So this is just more of the same crap. Are we supposed to forget he wants too much or assume an even bigger idiot than him wants to buy us at £60m?

I find it amazing that some still think the Aussies are, in any way, viable or capable of buying the club.

If they were, they'd have done it by now.

If we ended up with the Aussies after being so close with this guy it would be a bit of an anticlimax.
