How much is he worth? After a quite a while of trawling the internet all I could find was 253 million on a site that looked almost entirely like bullshit. Anyone else have a figure?

Looking around, there is nothing about his net worth, which tells me he probably has plenty. But when you look at all the people he knows (and knew,) and his current roles with many banks and investment companies, all that tells me he is worth oodles. It's not just what money he has but what money he can access and my guess is he can access whatever he wants. If we get him, my guess is we will be limited only by FFP rules and not much else.

Pretty much what I thought. Investment bankers don't give too much away. His past endeavours puts him up there. He clearly wants his own football club. Where it goes from here is anyone's guess. Here's hoping.

Nothing is developing here though is it. It is just a face and a name to a story we already knew about. A story that has not gone anywhere for a few months.

It's been approved in a high court that Pringles are not crisps. Instead, they're biscuits, apparently. ... Well, the court ruled that the snack, which is made of 42 percent of potato, should not be categorised as a potato crisp product. That's because of the tube's 'unnatural shape'.

    Start your our own thread.

A shooting star moment of hope.
Put away the It's Happening gifs and continue the life draining vigil of waiting for the didgeridoo botherers to actually do something.

    What's special about June 24th?
It's the day before we play Australia in the cricket World Cup at Lords

and if the deal is not complete by then the potential new owners have missed out on a free day out Aussie bashing whilst drinking copius amounts of alcohol with me and mates

**Offer closes midday on the 24th June to new owners.

They Aussies might be watching on the telly, from down under.

Calm down everyone and just think about how excited CL was this time last year.

It's new season ticket application time again. That's the reason this has come out now and how many bought them last year cos they thought Roland was going?
Possibly but the news first broke in a Welsh paper which suggests it wasn’t leaked by RD.
And poor Airman is smarting at being publicly scooped by a Welsh regional. Yet he's had the name for a while it seems. So why does it break now from the Welsh end? Close or impasse or mischief? Who knows??
Rich Cawley also claiming on Twitter today to have been chipping away at the story.
With the avalanche of news stories yesterday it’s easy to get a feeling that a sale completion is imminent, but I’m not sure there’s any real evidence for that.

My meagre contribution was to have told Gerard about Dalman. He seems to think he must be some way off completion, but no one knows how long he’s been doing his DD, do they? Hopefully the Aussies will pull their finger out, which might in turn make Dalman speed up.
Aussies do want Bowyer, but only a fool wouldn’t.

That might be £33 plus a guess at what the Directors’ loans are costing to settle?

Airman states in his latest VotV blog that the reported sales of CAFC in the £30-37M range do not include substantial payments upon any future promotion or perhaps player sell-on fees. And that the free and clear price is quoted as much higher. No way is RD walking away, writing-off £30-40M in debt now that we are in the Championship when we was unwilling to do so in League One.

I guess Dalman is going to have to comment on this publicly pretty soon if for no other reason than to clarify his plans with Vincent Tan at Cardiff.

Got a twelve hour shift ahead of me with no access to CL. What are the odds I finish my shift to find that the club has been sold AND Bowyer has signed a new contract?

The only glimmer of hope I can see is that RD's unknown mental state means that he's just as likely to, all of a sudden, complete on a deal, as he is to continue to mess about (assuming it has always been all down to him messing about).
