I wonder if all these people involved in the takeover that we keep hearing about encountered on trains are bumping into any of those Millwall and Pompey fans on the East Croydon line1

I thought it was a picture taken of Lee's negotiations with the old carp Duchatelet!0

We'll end up with a cast off from another tiddler.2 -
I reckon Lee's already signed a new contract and decided to go off for a spot of fishing whilst the new owner thrash out a deal with Roly. Wouldn't that be something?13

Last battle fought on British Soil at Culludon where a Scot with a French accent and an army of Scots is defeated by a German with an army of Scots
The clan fought with Robert the Bruce at Bannockburn, and for the King against the Jacobites four hundred years later.

Sometimes I don't know whether to pull the Trigger on the more vague puns from the Margins or do i go with the more obvious ones that you don't need to be a brain sturgeon to get?
Either way back on the takeover subject I hope Dalman doesn't need any more time to Mullet over.

According to accounts, CAFC made £1.34M in commercial revenue in 2017-18. By comparison here is the commercial revenue for all Championship Clubs the year before that, as supplied by SwissRamble. As one can see, CAFC enters our new division with a mammoth shortfall in commercial turnover to sign (or even re-sign) players compared to our competition. Even if we have clauses in our contracts that allow us to double our commercial contract payments (which I have not heard any evidence of), then even at £2.7M per year, we are bottom of the barrel in commercial revenue sources in The Championship. Anyone have any info on this situation or what our options are? Anyone know if more recent deals are more lucrative? Or how can get our commercial to the upper half of the division (exclusing parachuted clubs) of roughly £5-9M?

TBF selling one player could make the difference between nothing and lots?0
