Implication from comments on the OS from Parkie is that Weaver maybe unfit for the next match. Elliot will come in if needed but can we have Randolph on the bench now he is back from Hereford,or is his registration still with them

I have no preference as I have seen neither play, but we need one on the pitch and one on the bench.0 -
If I was Elliot or Randolph I would be wondering exactly whay I have to do to get a game. It is clear that Weaver's confidence has been severly dented. Both Pardew and Parkinson have chopped and changed virtually other position in the team, so why not the goalkeeper? Lets face it he is probably the worst performing goalkeeper the club has had for many years so Elliot or Randolph can't do any worse.0

Wouldn't say he's that bad but both Weaver and randolph are overweight!

I don't think Randolph can play. The Hereford manager said they would terminate his contract if they could but as he wasn't their player they couldn't. I think we have to wait untill Jan 1st.
I also think the Hereford manager was trying to save face.
Randolph was clearly the best keeper in the division and was going to be recalled. Hereford went out to get a replacement before the Jan transfer window. Randolph said well if I'm going back I don't want to be cup tied and Hereford then kicked up a stink to make it look like they were getting rid of him rather than that they couldn't keep their best player.
To put into perspective just how good Randolph was at Hereford. In his 13 league games he made 104 saves and let in 15 goals Weaver has made 105 saves all season and let in 35 goals.0 -

Not only is he a fan but I think he's a better keeper than Randolph.

As for waiting till 1st Jan - I'd suspect it depends on whether he was gone for the whole season with the possibility of being called back in Jan, or if he could be called back at any point we choose...0 -

If we bring any more loan players in we will have more loans than our own players.0

If Weaver is injured, I'm not sure its so much a crisis as an opportunity to have a change and still save face. Good luck to whoever gets the chance.0

the loan window closed the Thursday before the Southampton game. Doesn't re-open until Jan/Feb I believe.0
