    Good idea to formally give the stand this name. I imagine it was announced this week in advance of the first home fixture on Saturday

    Bring back the understand  bar, bottles of light or brown ale, and a good row in dancing area between bar and turnstiles.  Those were the days. Valley club to your right, open terrace bogs to your left.

    Nice touch and keeps the character of the ground rather than just generic naming. Like others I've always known it as the Covered End. Just need another sign saying "You'll never stop the F Block" to finish it off

    Why the different fonts? You would have thought they would be able to match the letters for two words.

    There should be a name for the upper north as well so the inhabitants up there don’t feel left out...how about ‘The Panto Stand’ ? As in ‘they’re behind you ‘...

    I was know in full as The Covered End until after a particularly heavy night, reading posts by the gentlemen known as @Covered End and not remembering a thing about posting them. A couple of days later I realised it wasn’t me, so I changed my moniker to TCE and slowed down with the boozing (one of those is a lie) 😂 For the record it’s known “The Covered End” as per the song ;)
