I still dont agree that we are letting him play against us. Bet he has a blinder, it will be a joke if he scores!

Comments

  • If he plays, Yes, he will score
If he don't, No, he won't.
  • i imagine his tireless running will cause no end of problems for our defence.

i hope the d*ck heads in the crowd dont "boo" him.

dream on. He'll get grief - it'll make him mad and he bag a brace.

Thankfully we'll win 3-2 and it will be a rip snorter of a match
  • Suggestion elsewhere is that when (I'd like to say 'if') he scores we sing 'Sign him up, sign him up, sign him up...............'

What he does in his own time is his own business, Good luck to you son, it's the only way you'll score tonight

If Lisbie can score against us for Colchester, Varney well score for Derby

He is on loan at Derby and is therefore not allowed to play against by league and fa rules. The sale is not until January if Derby still go through with it.
  • Rule only applies to Premier League. He can play.

May put a Varney score cast on. Varney to score first then draw or us win. Could make it a better night if he scores!

At least he'll be used to hearing the crowd at the Valley boo.

based on his interview after the game, I'm glad we booed him tonight. He showed no gratitude to us what so ever.
  • He is a poor mans Garry Nelson and only showed what a hopeless tosser he actually is.

I save my anger towards him for Pardew for wasting so much hard-earned on a very average player.

    Put yourself in his shoes.

The interviewer was playing Devils Advocate and trying to get Varney to rubbish Charlton.
Varns was plainly uncomfortable, didn't really know how to handle the situation - and ended up trying to say as little as possible.

Don't forget, he's a 'permanent' Derby player now, He's not coming back.
What did you expect him to say ....?
