Wearing colours to work

I was thinking of wearing one of my Charlton shirts to work today.
Too soon?

    You wicked man!
You must be very secure in your role!!
What about a slightly more subtle polo shirt or something?
    Anyway, enjoy your day!

As HR Director you should be concerned with the welfare of your colleagues.

Ask them all on a regular basis if the weekends events were in anyway stressful or depressing and ask if they would like to talk about their feelings.

Suggest that watching the events again on video may help them.

Take a pencil case instead. Only those in the know need to know.

I have a collection of CAFC ties - 5 or 6 of them

I tend to wear at least one a week

I'd go for the subtle approach. Walk into the office with this book under your arm.

Why stop at the shirt? Go FKW for the day 😂
Roger Johnson used to do that every Saturday.

I think you've missed the joke.  Bob works for Bet365, the firm that owns Stoke City.

I’d wait until we have beaten them away first.

Edited, seeing as he's gone very quiet this morning.

I'm still employed, and enjoying every minute!

Me, too. I took great pleasure in going into work with a Charlton tie on, after a win over the weekend.

Are you a Charlton player or coach?

Just had a chat with Peter and John. Both magnanimous in defeat - I said that Stoke played well for 60 minutes and another day they would have won. I also said that Jones' substitutions changed the game, and they agreed. "It's all about taking chances and you took yours".

    I don't believe you.

We all know you walked into the office singing "3 - 1, 3 - 1, 3-1" while sticking two fingers up at everyone.

... which isn't being rude, just pointing out the margin of victory on one hand and the number of times they hit the woodwork on the other.
  • Oh my, what a perfect Monday morning, bobmunro!
