Travelling on a train unaccompanied to meet his new team mates. This strikes me as a bit odd. He's not Dennis Bergkamp and he's not a teenage inter-railer. Why isn't he flying? If he was just doing a short journey from the airport, why didn't someone meet him? I've seen films of Indian commuter trains with people hanging off the side - surely though a professional footballer would be in a position to afford something less crowded.
Anyway, thoughts with his friends and family even though I have no recollection of him.0 -

Was along with the likes of Serge Debe etc. they were then sent straight to a European team because of the more lax visa rules
