No trace of Croydon for about 15 years in Charlton woman since Richard Murray pulled the plug and that team were disbanded.2 -

cafc Women are fighting against teams with tons more funding yet continue to punch above their weight and this is a big blow2 -
I suppose I should support the team as the franchise team was disbanded when the men’s team got relegated from prem but if they are totally separate from Roland and the men’s team what makes them ‘charlton’ ?0

Surely an irregularity that needs investigation and action?
No one would begrudge Kit Graham the chance to turn full-time professional ..... but it does appear that Spurs has totally railroaded the legalities of contract law.
If Spurs are allowed to set a precedent, there's nothing to stop any club poaching contracted players.
The FA surely must act. But of course they won't.

It does seem odd by the FA, they would have had I assume a copy of her Charlton Contract when she was registered 12 months ago, time will see how it plays out, but suspect Charlton will get some compensation, whether it's enough or realistic who knows, not sure what a transfer fee for such a player would be, but not going to be a 6 figure sum.
Kits a great player and has been a great servant to Charlton, I think those involved will be disappointed she's left but also will wish her well,0 -

Disappointed for Charlton but Kit Graham with full time training could improve another 50%
Only time will tell if she can adapt but she is a great goal scorer and at 23 could still go higher in the game than Spurs.0 -

Looked poor to be honest, nowhere near enough movement and gave it away a lot. Kerr at right back was probably the best of the bad bunch today though.
Villa had a lot more about them, their striker who scored a hat trick looked very good.

Villa have a 100% record and showed their supremacy today. Fitter, faster and stronger.
We are very much hurting from losing our 3 main attacking options and being left behind on the financial front. Shame that as the women’s game is growing at a fantastic rate it is being split once again between the “haves” and the “have nots”. Looks like we need to punch above our weight again.....and as everyone knows we do do that well ;-)2 -

Villa are a strong side. They have had major investment from their men's side and you can see the difference emerging from full time and part time clubs. Our budget is the smallest in the league (by some way as well) and I don't think it's seen how much we need to get more fans through the turnstiles to raise the money not only to compete in the Championship but to long term survive.
Despite the result we hope we showcased a good game of football and that most importantly people enjoyed themselves.1 -
