Not only did they win 2 straight promotions from league 2 to the championship, they made the play offs in the championship at the first time of asking. They also had a couple of good FA Cup runs around the same time too.2 -
We want RD out. There is no debate on that one. Equally it is only as a result of the actions of the fan base that we have the management and squad currently in situ. Getting rid of Nightmeire was a Massive plus too - for us anyway.
He still makes that call regarding budget but, in finally putting in place a coaching and scouting team worthy of us, we have a squad that is, at the very least, capable of a mid table position. How many of us seriously thought before the season that we would be unbeaten against the likes of Forest, Stoke, Derby, Leeds, Brentford and Fulham - all clubs that were at the top of the promotion betting.
If he pushed the boat out one little bit further and offered Taylor an acceptable contract and we fill the odd position that might be needed as cover come January as a result of delartures/long term injuries prevalent at the time, who knows what might happen next?
He can't change the past, we won't forget and are highly unlikely to forgive. But he can influence the future by keeping us competitive and by selling on terms that won't end up sending us in the opposite direction.

For me last season was a magnificent achievement and Bowyer, JJ and the backroom boys have maintained that spirit. I mean, who wouldn't want to play for Bow? My personal opinion is that promotion may be a little out of reach this season - bit it's not impossible, we've just given one of the big-spending favorites a right thumping. So yes, dare to dream, but don't get too downhearted if we only finish 7th or 8th 'cos that would mean we would have had a great season.
