    Two trialists were:
    DAVE BLACKMORE-GOALKEEPER EX-WHU
    MAXIME POGET-MIDFIELD(i think)

It was Lewes 2nd XI Salad

This Dave Blackmore is a young keeper contracted still at West Ham, but perhaps they are looking to release him?
He's also been on loan at Thurrock recently, gave away the daftest penalty you can imagine and got himself sent off:

    Linky: Blackmore madness

Dickson played the lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation ....... I thought he couldn't hold the ball up?

He was well involved, teed up chances for others and shots on target himself, including a goal.

That sounds like he played much of an all round game to me

Well maybe that's why they did it, give him some practise at it.

More to do with the players we had available, it's only a reserve game.

And yeah its Lewes reserves, Aswad Thomas is a regular for their first team and could barely get on the bench for us in pre-season.

Play Sinclair in the first team.

Better goals to games ratio than Dickson in our first team and would be the perfect partnership with Bailey.

But Sinclair doesn't have a YouTube video and hasn't been dubbed the new Ian Wright!

Bailey and Sinclair together - lung busting dynamic duo, both with the first touch of an elephant,
    Maybe that's not fair, though.

Do wonder how long it'll be, if ever, that we hear that Sinclair wants to leave like Dickson. Must be getting very frustrated seeing even Shelvey and Wright (even though they deserved a chance) ahead of him.

Saw him go into the ground before the Southampton match, so did Wright but they both missed out on the bench.

Sinclair is probably caught up in a dilemma of ......"Do I stay here and collect £5k per week.
Or do I go back to Barnet for fifteen hundred pw."

It's easy for me to be cynical I suppose..

But surely there comes a time when you just need to play some football?

I remember earlier in the season he only wanted a month at Cheltenham as he wanted to break into our team.

I guess he must be confident enough to believe when he gets his chance he'll do well and get a regular spot in the team. Not sure he'll get that chance or be good enough myself.

He's probably been looking at the form of those in the 1st team and thinks, Jeez, what have I got to do to start?
