Wigan match tickets [21/09/19]

Tickets for Charlton's trip to the DW stadium to face Wigan Athletic and the home fixture against Leeds United will go on general sale from 9:30am on Wednesday morning.
The Addicks have been given an allocation of 1,550 for the trip to Wigan on Saturday, 21st September (3pm).
Tickets for the game will be posted out until 4pm on Wednesday, 18th September and will be posted out from The Valley until 1pm on Thursday, 19th September.
Standard ticket pricing for the fixture is as follows:
Adult: £23
Over 65: £15
Under 18: £10
Under 12: £5
Under 5: £2
Ambulant disabled tickets are the relevant price and a helper goes free.
There are 7 wheelchair bays, tickets are the relevant price and a helper goes free
A Valley Away coach service will be running to the DW Stadium, Priced at £27, with the following pick-up times
Larkfield: 6:15am
Gravesend: 6:40am
Dartford: 6:55am
Bexleyheath: 7:10am
Bromley: 7:40am
Eltham: 8:00am
Charlton: 8:10am
As the away end at Wigan holds over 4000 fans i assume 1550 tickets to be the initial allocation.

I love the way the club have decided to colour code the 4-pricing zones as red, blue, yellow and, um, blue.
I hope this is just to cause trouble with the fair weather supporters, I mean we know there are no other colours at all that could have been used....2

i cant see us shifting more than 1550 for wigan tbh i am booked but this will be a visit to a new ground.0

It doesn’t mean anything. It might have meant can be purchased from The Valley until 1pm, except to my understanding the ticketing staff don’t serve people on Thursdays. Perhaps you can order online until then and collect at Wigan.killerandflash said:Tickets for the game will be posted out until 4pm on Wednesday, 18th September and will be posted out from The Valley until 1pm on Thursday, 19th September.

I'll be very disappointed if we do not take similar support to what we take to Reading.clive said:Tickets for Charlton's trip to the DW stadium to face Wigan Athletic and the home fixture against Leeds United will go on general sale from 9:30am on Wednesday morning. I too still remember the game at the start of the Roland era going there with no hope at all and losing the game 2-1. What was most galling though was I remember glancing at the scoreboard saying we were 1-0 up with 91:30 played wondering how on earth we were winning this, yet in true Charlton away day style we still somehow end up losing from that winning position.1

The away end stunned into silence and total disbelief.
Nego's sole appearance for us that day?1

Yes his one and only game. I also remember Reza smashing the bar from about 25 yards that could have put us 2-0 up!ElfsborgAddick said:

Over five and a half years the Rat has now been at the helm and who scored for us that day, no other than one Marvin Sordell with a well taken breakaway goal early doors. Hope to be there for my third visit.0

Hope to be there for my third visit. The Wednesday away game in April was a classic.2-0 down and really in the s*** if we lost. 'King Marvin' cracks in a hat-trick to get a win that virtually kept us up.1

We've sold just over 500. Will be my first away of the season, will we push 1k+?0
-
i think already selling 500 is quite good going.
trains aren't the dearest its a straight forward 2 hour journey from Euston - i prefer these sort of away games get into wigan at 12.25hopefully into a pub for the early kick off that day is Leicester vs spurs or Leeds v derby.0
-

I agree. Its just a bit of a soulless ground. Im still undecided.palarsehater said:i think already selling 500 is quite good going.

We bought our train tickets straight away and they wouldve been £51 without railcard.palarsehater said:i think already selling 500 is quite good going.

 Certainly not cheap0
-

That doesn’t sound too bad as didn’t realise it was only 2 hours. I’ve got an old gits’ card so could get the cheaper fare. Might try and do this one. I take it that was for first class.clb74 said:

Yes it's not the most exciting away ground, with a distinct lack of atmosphere, but it's a good chance of 3 points!0
