    That's the story.
    The locals turned out in force to wait outside the ground for us.
    We ( my cousin and myself) were put on a coach by the OB and we were escorted away.

    me neither. I was 16 and my mate let me down so I went on my own. Got off the train at Reading and went in the pub opposite the station which was packed with Charlton. Came out of the pub to be greeted by a group not going to the game by all accounts. it kicked off and one of them had his ear sliced off with a broken bottle. As we made our way to the ground, A bus went past us and at the next stop, it just emptied and about 50 youths came running towards us. I went into a butchers shop to avoid the inevitable and they came in after me. I was dragged out and was beaten to within an inch of my life before the police turned up. Was taken to hospital and had a broken nose, broken jaw and bruised ribs. They caught some of the perpetrators  because they were covered in my blood. When they released me from hospital, I was taken to the police station where I was interrogated about the incident outside the station. But I didn't know who did it so they were trying to pin it on me. They called my mum and dad who came to collect me and my mum broke down because i was unrecognisable. Not a good day for me and have always had a dislike for Reading

    Dont know which day they're playing but Bowyer (post-Brentford) mentioned that we'd be playing a Behind Closed Doors friendly this week

    Of course its not the same as a competitive match yet will hopefully give more minutes to Oztumer and Kayal etc.

    Some of them are making themselves feel better by calling us "very limited". It's as if having a hard working team means you must have average players. Better to have foreign midfielders that don't like tracking back but never give the ball away, or wing backs who occasionally score wonder goals.

    Perhaps if our British players changed their names to be more exotic and we pretended they cost £5m then each opposition fans would see that we're a good team. Hernandez Fernandez and Jose Garcia sound much more exciting and talented than Ben Purrington and Jonny Williams.

    Agreed. After the game some Reading fans referred to is as 'negative' even though we had the same amount of possession as them, nearly the same amount of shots, and created the far better chances!

    It was a terrific performance from us, especially the second half, and if a few of them want to call us limited we should learn to enjoy it. Why? Because it is complete rubbish and shows we have hurt a few bad losers. I thought they were limited - they have two or three good footballers and attack with pace and skill, but they only want to get the ball wide. They worked shooting opportunities but didn't have a go with one of them, despite our in box defending being excellent. 

    When they made subs, they just changed the wide players. Bowyer has different systems we can play during the same game. I think if these fans understood football, their performance yesterday would throw some question marks about the manager. Of course, one game can't tell you everything, but they are the team of the two that could be found out unless they get some variety in their play.
