    Thanks for posting that oohaa....that clears something up for me as at that game the CE was seated....it wasn't in 79-80.

    I remember the game well I’ve got it on an old vhs somewhere, being on match of the day was a rare thing in those days and as a young 14 year old it was a big deal .
    Didn't realise a young David Seaman played in that fixture for Brum

    Curbishley played for Birmingham in 1979/80.

    The 79/80 one was played on 2nd Feb 1990, my birthday. I remember Leroy Ambrose kept trying to beat his man three times before crossing it in front of the JS Stand. Brum had Archie Gemmel and I think it might have been the game where he was waiting for Colin Powell in the tunnel afterwards but Killer Hales came along and sorted him out.
