I found out yesterday that Tom, the wonderful chef at the Green Pea restaurant at Hardy's, passed away last month. If you ever ate there you'll know exactly who I mean. Once met, never forgotten.
A few years ago he was interviewed because his restaurant was in the top 10 on Trip Advisor. His response? "What's Trip Advisor?"
He was a lovely fella and I shall miss him. RIP Tommy.
