BATEMAN: Picked them up from the printers yesterday.

    VAN PATTEN: Good coloring.

BATEMAN: That's bone. And the lettering is something called Silian Rail.

    McDERMOTT (envious): Silian Rail?

VAN PATTEN: It is very cool, Bateman. But that's nothing.

He pulls a card out of his wallet and slaps it on the
    table.]

    VAN PATTEN: Look at this.

They all lean forward to inspect it.

    PRICE: That's really nice.

Bateman clenches his fists beneath the table, trying to control his anxiety.

VAN PATTEN: Eggshell with Romalian type.

    (Turning to Bateman)

    What do you think?

BATEMAN (barely able to breathe, his voice a croak): Nice.

one of the greatest scenes, of any film, ever
  • These have been around a while.

Stickers like this have become very popular with a section of most clubs fans, on the England scene in particular. Easier and cheaper than a flag I guess.

The words on this are a snippet from a song some of our ‘undesirables’ have sung for years.

Cringe maybe, but certainly not exclusive to Charlton.

Personally prefer this one that’s out there, but they’re ten a penny now.

I almost cringe asking this but if anyone has genuine stickers/calling cards (I'm talking to you @AFKABartram ) etc then the museum would like to have them.

Mate, I've got so much crap (as my wife likes to call it) that I've collected over the years and not all Charlton related.

A folder full of Who stuff, a lot of it signed, that's been waiting to be framed for god knows how long, other music related signed stuff as well.

I even found a tin full of those fruit & vegetable pencil toppers that were about in the 70's a while ago. Gave them to my daughter who loves them but looked on Ebay afterwards and they're worth a few quid.

  • Good job there’s an international break this weekend.

Apart from the decision to marry you, your wife sounds very sensible : -:smile:

Listen to her, de-junk your life.  I know a museum that can help you.

@Croydon  No history now maybe but in 50 years time they will be.   Post a couple to the museum or leave them in main reception, please.

Tell you what, yeah?   Get the trains running on time and I'll stop sticking my stickers on the railway lines.  :I
