He will soon change his mind when he sees Naby Sarr.
There's a certain poster on here who probably believes Sarr would get the better of Messi.
  • Where's Muir in all of this?

Just got a ticketing email from the club, surely no co-incidence
Not wishing to rain on anyone's parade, but until the sale is finalised, surely all income from tickets etc goes to Roland?

Perhaps worth waiting a week to get that half-season ticket you promised yourself?
  • Just bought my ticket for tomorrow, first time back in 3 years.

Where's Muir in all of this?
Standing at Charlton train station asking anyone in a suit if they’d join an Australian football consortium that are very confident of completing a deal within the next two crucial weeks.

That was a " tough two weeks"
  • Over the moon, I thought I was dreaming when I read it this morning. The Valley is sure to be bouncing tomorrow.
  • What happened to Muir and the Ozzies ? He bought a scarf and everything.
They have handed those back so they can be given out with the 1000 CARD have bought to celebrate the end of Duchatelet.
  • My Valley Gold number was pulled out of the hat to do Crossbar Challenge tomorrow. I nominated my 18 year old son to do it, and we went to Sparrows Lane at lunchtime to get some tips from the under 18s. When we arrived Lee and Keith Peacock started chatting to my son and Lee offered to provide him some training - I think its a first for Crossbar Challengers. He spent about half an hour patiently coaching him, which when you think about the hectic schedule he has, and the weighty news announcement this morning, that is quite special. Lee couldn't be more relaxed, As you probably know, we have one very special gaffer there.

Steve Avery also spent a lot of time chatting to him and encouraging.

What a day, what a club
PA - they were probably considering him for the bench tomorrow.

they have agreed a price so I doubt the odd half season ticket here and there will make a difference

At last........going to be some party @ The Valley tomorrow. Lets all hope that these guys have not only money (sack and sacks of it by the sound of things) but also interest in and ambition for the club unlike the old fart who can now be forgotten (although I will hopefully still be able to attend his funeral and dance on his grave). Roland's Out !!
    Hopefully sometime very soon
  • I have proudly not posted ONE comment on any takeover thread prior to today as the constant let downs, false dawns , bullshit etc wound me up. Today I can post and be free !!!!! Can't wait to get back to the Valley for every home match with my Son. Been through a lot with this club but never boycotted before, even had a season ticket at sell***** and W. Ham.

    How tall is he?
  • When all the Johnny come latelys look back at this thread in 10 years time after our successful Champions league campaign I would like to point out that I went to Burnley and Blackpool night games away in 1981. I am not a glory boy and have earnt my little bit of Utopia.

In all seriousness,  I had this bizarre thought about 18 months ago that for enduring the punishment inflicted on us by Roland surely we would get a rich reward in time. Hopefully this happens, although a bit surprised by many long standing fans getting too carried away with future predictions. This is Charlton after all.

    5. Sack Driesen.
    6. Sack No Cahones.
    7. Tell Murray to do one.

    9.  Buy a boiler.

    10.  Get someone in to connect it up.

Havent been to The Valley for 4 years. Travelling NOW from Northamptonshire to Charlton, staying overnight and attending the game tomorrow.
Haven’t you seen the forecast for overnight snow? Game to be called off!
I'd take that, we can still go and party and Gareth Bale can get a hat-trick in the re-arranged game!

So I run my hands over a bit of British Rail seating material now and again.  So what?  I'm not hurting anyone and it's over 18 years old so it's perfectly legal.
