Post pages not defaulting to last post you read.

Normally after you've read a page of posts and log off when you log back on it defaults to the last post you read. During the last few days, it has stopped doing this and appears as if you never viewed the post, and defaults back to the first page. Is there a fix?

I can’t access the site via my iPhone apart from going through the CharltonLife account on Twitter and hitting the website link.0

So I'm experiencing something similar but perhaps not exactly the same? It's recognising when I read older threads (eg the sale of Charlton topic) but not anything newer. So every newly created thread from today onwards, it remains unread even after I've opened it!4

^^ same here0

Interestingly, I've just noticed that by posting in this thread it's fixed the issue for me for this particular thread.Time to go through all the takeover threads and post some nonsense just so I can satisfy by "unread" OCD...0

It’s a pain in the arse.0

Just posting so I don’t have to start from the top again0

Spot on. That is what is happening to me.0 - Sponsored links:

Is there a fix yet. I love the match threads on here, but had to give up today as I got the pox with it as it kept going back to the start of the thread0

@callumcafc Of course, the next thing to check is whether once you've posted it reverts to the last time you posted, or is fine from thereon in. But I assume we won't really know that until one of the threads concerned rolls over to a new page.

Apologies that it’s not great at the mo. We use CL as much as everyone else so anything that frustrates you I can assure you frustrates us even more.

No point complaining about it, it's a free service that I personally am grateful for. Admins do a great job so I can get over it0

@AFKABartram it looks like @Callumcafc's workaround does the trick, and fixes the display issue on the main forum thread list too, although not instantaneously. Although I'm not sure you want to publicise that so everyone frantically posts to all the new threads just so they don't go back to the beginning of the new ones each time, and adds to the load on the servers. (Happy to edit this post if you think that would be counterproductive)

Just tried @Callumcafc's trick on the post match comments and it does indeed work. Bit of a pain to post in every thread you're interested tho!0

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Thought I was going mad.0
