She systematically deconstructed our club to fit her own personal tastes and wants and said sod us all.
So yes, people still feel upset about it.

Not only was she arrogant and incompetent (you can be the first if you're not the second) ske was vindictive.
Ask @ollywozere who even when she knew she was leaving she tried to sack on trumped up charges or the many other staff driven out by here.
Ask the lifers she took to court, misusing the police and court time, on fabricated evidence that was finally, but only after much time and cost, thrown out by a judge.
There are other examples I know of and I'm sure plenty more I don't. Not talking to one of her most experienced staff for nine months is just one.

Call me an old cynic, but considering Birmingham were given a points deduction punishment that, frankly, wasn’t a punishment at all suggests that something similar will happen to Wednesday.
My prediction is that their points deduction will be determined late enough in the season for it to be clear that it will have no meaningful effect on their promotion or relegation chances. If it turns out that it would have too much of an effect (like if they’re in the top two, for example) then they’ll just get a fine.
And by the way, I still can’t quite understand why people didn’t kick up a stink about that meaningless Birmingham points deduction. They went from being a longshot outside chance of playoffs to being a longshot outside chance of relegation. If ever a “punishment” was designed to minimize chance of any real consequence, this was it.
What message were the EFL trying to put out? That owners shouldn’t really worry about breaking the rules because the consequences won’t be significant?
The solution to this situation was obvious: give the points deduction at the beginning of the following season when there was no way of knowing the extent of the effect it would have.3 -

My overriding memory is Meire grinning like a Cheshire Cat from a window in the West Stand during the early post match protests. I believe that she thoroughly enjoyed the misery she and Duchatelet were heaping on supporters, a belief that was regularly enhanced as she continued to display breathtaking arrogance towards anyone who had the temerity to question her actions.
Given her track record in South East London, I was amazed and stunned that Sheffield Wednesday should provide her with a bolt-hole after she ended her tortuous tenure as CEO of Charlton Athletic. It seems that Wednesday may now be reaping the benefits of that ludicrous decision, and I offer them no sympathy.21 -

Many of us here have probably been employed or promoted to a role in which we weren’t ready or best suited. But we would ensure we dropped any ego and embraced those in experience around us.
Meire continued to do the opposite.
And she didn’t care that she may be destroying something that took over a hundred years to build.
Ill never ever forget standing in west stand car park during one of the post-match protests, and she stood by that window watching/smirking/laughing. Other people in that position would have stayed away from the window, but she revelled in it.
That’s not a person that didn’t know what they were doing, as you say.13 -
She paid blokes to stand outside the ground and assault Charlton fans who protested too near the doormat. Read that sentence three times if you ever need a reminder of what she was. You can forgive mistakes through inexperience, but that was just another level of vindictive arseholery.

This.She could have helped to boost the profile of women in football in a positive way but, instead, used her gender to good effect when she wanted something and the 'poor little female me' card when the shit hit the fan. I expect she'll do the same this time. Gives women a bad name.
