Paulie in ROS bashing shocker.... I think its a disgrace he has brought in the collective bonus that will never be done! I don't see why they changed from the original bonus. Remember it was once £147k for a 147, and / or a car. I get they are more common now but still there should be a £10k Jackpot and rollover onto the next eg. Add £10k per event. Ultimately the players don't really gain anything from getting a 147, other than a high break prize.
Most were predictable round 1, not many shocks, although 2nd round looks tougher to call betting wise. I was thinking who is going to stop trump? really hard to call as he is playing so well and looking like he is going to dominate. All the top guys seem to be playing well so far so it really is going to be a tough one to call.

Just an FYI if any player did it I would be saying the exact same thing.
As stated I disagree with what Barry Hearn has done.
But every other player still tries to get a 147 if they can, to easily have one and purposly not go for it disrespects the whole sport, fellow players and fans alike

54 Year Old Nigel Bond, World Ranked 98 just beat World Champion Judd Trump
Watched the majority of this match, I couldn't believe it Trump started off pretty well hitting a 50 then a century. All of a sudden it got a bit scrappy and missed chances both sides. Shock of the season for me by a mile, Bond has won 1 match on tour all season and not been on TV for 7 years (I think) , personally Trump has looked unbeatable of late, he was 1/66 , absolutely crazy result. Also Michael White beat Williams, Murphy losing, quite a few shocks so far but the UK is usually won by one of the front runners so opens up for Ronnie , if he can be bothered...
Cheers Paulie, I have been keeping an eye on it just been a busy week. Tough one to call still, on paper Ronnie is big fave but still if Ding plays well today, wont be formality just yet. Be nice to see Ronnie win again
Wow what a treat, I had half an hour lunch go watch Ronnie vs Ding, he is 1-4 behind but then 3 swift frames 7mins/7 and a half and 8 2 centuries and we are back square game on! This is why I love Ronnie, makes the game look so easy flowing like that...
At present Ding is in the 9th frame, but pressure on now.
Well done Ding, held it together the last 2 frames Ronnie had half chances but missed. Very good match and high standard so fairplay to Ding for beating ROS when he clicked into gear.
