The littlebrook power station was blown up at 8am. I'm in Gravesend & the house shook, thought something had come thru the roof.

RIP to the men who died in the accident there when it being built.
My dad had a good few years working there when it being built. Sad to see it go because of that. Still he worked on Valiant house and I look at that fondly as it was my introduction to The Valley and Charlton.8 -
When built, didn't the final few workers get lifted off the top by chopper (no pun intended) ?

I on the other hand live in Dartford and could see the power station from my back garden. I slept right through the demolition on Sunday.
