Davison has too do better with a free header there. We are looking much better since half time

    Pratley starting to fade...

    Dare I suggest Ledley?
  • I make that two pens we should have had. There was a handball when Davison was bearing down on goal

    Anyway... We are pushing
  • I think we would have had a pen there under VAR. Gallagher starting to impose himself a little
    For the Handball? - Nah!!

    Great tackle from Purrington there
  •  Quite enjoying this second half performance. Certainly a lot better than the first.
  • Sounds like Sean's now playing for 1-0 which means we have chances opening up. Their poor home form may play into our hands.

Yep, comes down right on the bloke's arm away from his body. I've got no criticism of the ref for not giving it but going by where his arm was and the fact VAR is insane I think we could have had one there. Liverpool would have got it

    Of course we wouldn't!

VAR would have said that came off the middle of his chest and it was a misleading camera angle that made it look like the defender caught the ball, bounced it upfield, and launched a 3-point effort ...

Think the commentators got it right, handball by an attacker it would have been a FK, not for a defender though as different rules

Do need to remove one of the yellow cards from our central midfie

That's the old world. There aren't actually different rules, there's different practice, but VAR eliminates that. Arguably for worse, but there's not actually a rule that says defenders can get away with the ball striking their arm

Much more positive from us - our front five under 20 year olds are stretching them at least

It's so difficult to poke criticism at some of the kids when they are doing the best they can but you can just see some of the errors are schoolboy stuff
