Wow, 5 year deal has cheered me up a lot. Sounds very positive.
  • Think I'm done with football to be honest. Can't be doing with year on year compounded uncertainty. Still stand by giving people the benefit of doubt, including RD to begin with, but it's meant to be about football, not contracts and fuckin shares.
My old neighbour (long since died) a Millwall supporter once said, "Being a football supporter is tantamount to masochism."
He said he had supported Millwall for 60 years and for 59 and three quarters it had been "pure misery".
He said he could not even remember the "three months of glory".
  • Not sure any manager in English leagues has been offered five years.  Statement of commitment without pandering to inflated transfer fees.

I remember Pardew once signed an 8 year deal

Picking now mate. We've questioned them but I think this lot may be the real deal.

I would guess it's at least on a par with most of the other managers at that level.
    Who knows,maybe more

It's not so bad if its 70k a week though
  • Phew! I'm relieved.

Never felt comfortable when MS said    " we will leave Lee's contract until after the window closes ".

Chance of Lyle signing up now ?
I really hope so, fingers crossed.

I was talking about football managers, not sure Pardew counts. (Was there a stray 'o' in that post?)

    Hope its a corking deal!!

And not a Duchatelet type of offer!!

Lee signing his contract on the pitch before the game with Tahoon?

Needs to be a good one, and we need to bring fresh players into the club.

I know our squad is beyond paper thin right now but some of Bow's decision-making tonight has been strange to the point of worrying.

Derby were in terrible form. We've made their ten men look world beaters. What the F were those subs about ??

     🤔😉

Airman if you are right then he needs to understand the nature of who he is dealing with.

I am going to upset a lot of people but if I were HE Tahnoon Nimer I am not going to be playing these games. I do not do my business in the press. I have a simple message here I am not here to be the "cash cow" for all and sundry.

If an employee, any employee put that in the press deliberately no matter how good he is, he is out the door.

Grapevine, this reads to me that you feel Lee Bowyer should be sacked for going to the press.
If that's what you meant, then for the first time I must disagree.
