  • Had a bit of ITK on Taylor the other day as you may of seen on that thread, hope it wasn’t true.

But unfortunately I have a bit of insider info on Conor, and it isn’t good, been told he’s heading to Swansea.  I promise no bull shit, just what I’ve been told by what I believe to be reliable.
Many many responses to this didn’t age well.

Most responses didn't doubt the accuracy just the timing of the info.

Conor hardly seems buzzing in that interview.

Rumoured they’ll send Kalulu back to Basel.

    Freddie Woodman
    Ben Wilmot
    Aldo Kalulu
    Rhian Brewster
    Marc Guehi
    Conor Gallagher

Aldo Kalulu hasn't played that much but so would imagine he is the sacrifice but still if he isn't sent back then they cant just keep him out of there 18 for the rest of the season lol
  • What a class act Conor was. I knew he was back to chelsea in the summer but losing him now was gutting. I can't wait for the day he plays for england so I can watch him run around for my team again.

Conor 100% did not instigate this, he was more than happy to stay and loved his time here.

I'll ask this again. How do you know this for a fact?
Because I do. I‘m not prepared to say how exactly, but in time you will see or hear it from Bowyer and Gallen, whenever they get asked.

Let’s just say I know for fact, the same way you know for a fact that today is Wednesday.
But yesterday you had no idea if this rumour was true or not and today you know the ins and outs of it? Starting to think you might not know what day of the week it is.
    😂 you’re joking, right?

Yesterday I learnt the same as everyone else that this was happening. If you look at my comments over the last couple of days, I said that Gallen’s response didn’t sit right, I said that if he goes it’s rubbish because what can he learn elsewhere that he wouldn’t be able to here.

Last week I clearly stated that he was staying and the stories from The Sun and Mail were rubbish. And they were at that time. Things change in football, but that wasn’t Conor’s doing.

It’s early afternoon on Wednesday, in case you didn’t know, lots of conversations can happen at any time. Since the news came around yesterday, I’ve had one of those many conversations and can categorically say, for a fact, that Conor did not instigate this.

You’re more than entitled to question things, the same way I have said the same to Doucher when he says things without any statement or substance, such as the Field injury situation which he was wrong about, but then he gets very sarcastic and defensive straight after at times. On this occasion, I’ve said I’m not prepared to say how I know, but in time you will see or hear it from Bowyer and Gallen. It’s now you who has been sarcastic and defensive because I didn’t give you an insightful answer as to how I know 100%.
Nane dropping me won’t help you...  I’ll Believe the field thing is wrong when I see it btw - despite what has been said publicly
I apologise as it was probably wrong of me to bring you into it. The point being I’ve questioned you before as have many others which we are all entitled to do, same with people with me. The point was the Field one you were wrong about and I asked you about it as there hadn’t been any proof behind it. Rightly, you don’t have to ever give your sources or information away, and you’ve been proven to be right on here too. I was using you as an example that we are all allowed to be questioned, but to be on someone’s case when they’re not prepared to say exactly how they know something for absolute certainty is a little unfair, albeit completely up to that person.

You also said that your sarcasm wasn’t intended to me before when I asked, and that’s all good. Just as I wasn’t actually being sarcastic in my response when I said I know for a fact in the same way we know today is Wednesday. It was to say I am that certain of it, but not prepared to say explicitly how I know it to be true.

Anyway, it’s done now and ultimately doesn’t matter because everyone is right to believe or not believe whatever they wish. But I appreciate people recognising me as someone genuine, because that’s all I’ve tried to do is pass on genuine information when I’ve got it, just the same with the injuries when someone’s asked.

    Agreed.
    Its hard to explain what type of player he is to anyone;
    19yr old who:
    - gets stuck into every tackle
    - runs till he cant go anymore gives his all in every game
    - can make a long pass
    - can score a screamer
    - arrives in the box late like lampard - box to box

genuinely think he's a top class player. Not seen someone like him in a while.

Imagine you're a consultant, you're placed into a business to support their change and develop your own skills with a known challenge.

You're halfway through your placement, you're entirely bought into the cause of your placement, of that company and want to see it through. You're learning from the management, you're chummy with the staff and expecting another 5 months of the same...

Then the organisation that placed you, pulls you out and moves you to a new placement 200+ miles from your base. You feel pressured into agreeing terms of your new placement.

You have a hole in your heart... You could have helped your initial placement achieve their goals, you knew them, how they ticked, what was needed to achieve. You felt some fault though as you were part of the team that had a  few slip ups.

Now you're looking at your previous placement and all you see is risk for them. You know the learning curve that has to be overcome. You know they're relying on people who have been off on long term sickness to get back up to speed quickly and not relapse.

Wild assumptions here but I'd be gutted to be in his position too.

    Excellently put.

He wasn't ours to keep, he is a Chelsea player on "loan" to us. The club that own him (Chelsea) have a right to call him back from a loan any time they want.

Consultancy: the new house buying analogy. ;)

He doesn't look full of the joys of spring in that interview clip in FA's earlier post, does he?

Never mind someone excited to join a promotion attempt, he looks and sounds pissed off that he's deserted a potential relegation scrap, which would fit in nicely with your analysis above.

I suspect Chelsea looked at our horrid run of injuries combined with our diving form and concluded that we would not help his development from this point out. Honestly can’t say I blame them. Who wants their prized asset at a club that injures half their team and can’t figure out how to stop the bleeding? The first thing our new Director of Football needs to do is get our medical team and fitness practices seriously upgraded.

Loans are loans and recalls can be triggered, look what we did recently with a few of ours. Connor put his all in for us while here and made an important contribution to our points and goal tally, so very grateful and wish him the best of luck. Never a dull moment...

As has been said - Swansea haven't done anything differently to what we did to Wimbledon with Purrington.
No, but I know who got the better deal...

Woodman plays every game and you'd assume the 3 new youngsters will also play.

So between Wilmot and Kalulu obviously. Agree that it'll likely be the latter.

Why is Oztumer welcoming him to The Liberty?
