Parkinson quote

just before I head off and coach a game that I can actually effect, I forced myself to read parky's comments on the OS.
"Our lack of anticipation in the box was one criticism I had today,” said Parkinson. "In training you can work on finishing and basic technique but when it comes to a game players aren't always composed.

My thread heading before I read the article was going to be "Practice agenda for coming week - FINISHING" but it looks like they have been, with either woeful coaching or just inept strikers to take it to matchdays. So heres the thing, his critisism is composure, in other words, pressure. They need to transfer the pressure to Sparrows lane. My resolution is to put financial pressure on them, say a finishing drill that if the shot misses the target its £1000 fine, hits the woodwork £750, if the keeper saves it £500. It puts the pressure on them as I am sure after 10 attempts it will start showing in their pocket and we get some much needed revenue back into the club. If it works, design a similar drill for the defence.

This is tounge in cheek by the way!

Cheer up lads, and lets get up to Nowrich and Sheff Wed!!
