Former academy physio rejoins the club. Was Bale’s personal trainer. Done new stuff with Solly who feels a million times better.

    Danny Murphy's title at Spurs was Rehab Physio; he could be overworked at Cafc.

    Chris Solly told us on Thursday that Murphy left Madrid because Bale was likely to go to China. That move didn’t obviously happen but Murphy wanted to come back home (London). So we have managed to get him permanently for the time being.

    Works well for all parties by the looks of things.

    If he's been at Chelsea and Spurs and Bale was paying him then he certainly can't be cheap and it can only be good for us.

    “Chris Solly has had his problems with his knee and he says that Danny is doing stuff which he has never done before – he’s feeling a million times better.

    “Lyle speaks highly of him too. All the feedback is very, very good.”

    Has anyone else noticed that the former Charlton, Fulham  and Liverpool midfielder does not have any shoulders which must be unusual for a top athlete of his calibre.

    Bales was nicknamed Mr Glass by the Spanish press due to his injury record, so he has plenty of experience
