Phillips: 7 a few good saves and some wayward kicking.
Lockyer: 6.5 some good some not so good

Sarr: 6.5 some good interceptions but doesn’t talk to Doughty enough.
Matthews: 6.5 quieter game from him
Cullen; 7 battled hard but didn’t seem to have a lot of options when he got in the ball.
Oztumer 7 tidy player if a little bit lightweight, always looks like he can make something happen though.
Davis: 6 a nice assist for both teams today, battled well but passing was off it at times, looked better in the deeper role rather than the box to box he was asked to do to start with.
Doughty; 6 really like this kid but he struggled today, don’t think he is defensively aware enough to play LB in a 4, much more suited to LWB in a 5.
Taylor: 9.5 - well, well, well what a bloody performance from our talisman. Felt like having the armband on really meant a lot to him - it’s his until he retires if he wants it.
Green: 6 some decent play but his hold up wasn’t good enough, ball bounced off him too often, also missed a sitter.
Lapslie: 7.5 lovely cameo, was so up for it, won every challenge and header also nice link play and finish
Referee: 8 can tell he is a Prem referee, wasn’t fooled by some embarrassing dives by the Luton players.
Bonne: n/a - looks really sharp when he came on, nice assist
