Thought green was awful tbh! How he didn't cut the ball back to lyle in the 1st half was criminal. All style no substance imho. Purrington was shite though tbf!

Sorry, this is nonsense. He defended pretty well - headers, blocks etc - and he put over a peach of a cross. There was one dreadful pass but you can't judge him on that alone

Phillips: 6.5 - good save at the end. dealt with a couple of awkward corners well. 
Matthews: 6.5 - thought he did well in the first half. some good challenges and went down the line well. 
Oshilaja: 6 - couple of sloppy passes and got sucked in by their forward a couple of times but on the whole defended well. some good blocks and good headers. 
Pearce: 5.5 - started terrible but got better and more assured as the game went on. 
Purrington: 3 - not only for the goal but his first half display was terrible. kept losing his man. caught out of position a number of times. got slightly better in second to be average. 
Pratley: 5 - slow. just came back from injury and he plays the whole game. 
Lapslie: 5 - did a few things well, won the ball back a couple of times and then looked like a kid out there at other times. 
Cullen: 5.5 - we seem to do the press the ball tactic. problem with that is you leave other runners free to roam through the middle. by himself in the middle as pratley was too slow was not a good idea. 
Williams: 5 - started brightly but faded. 
Green: 5 - one very good cross and he worked the goalkeeper. shouldn't of stayed on for the whole game. needs to deliver the ball quicker.  
Taylor: 6 - worked hard and should of connected properly to one cross to score. 
Bonne: 5.5 - should of done better in front of goal but he added a bit more up front when he came on. 

Referee: 4 - seemed to let things go quite often but wasn't consistent with his bookings/fouls. not sure about the pen claim. looked like Taylor had a case.

Phillips: 7 - Made a good save, and it was his kicks that were causing their defenders problems.
Matthews: 7 - Got forward well, his throws and crosses caused them problems.
Oshilaja: 6 - Did ok, for a 4th choice centre back.
Pearce: 5 - Seemingly a lot of nerves early on, struggles with the ball at his feet.
Purrington: 5 - Abject performance first half, not just the pass, but poor challenge, and constant negative play. Second half he improved.
Pratley: 5 - Struggled, on his return, probably not fully fit.
Lapslie: 5 - Passing was poor, but he put in some good challenges.
Cullen: 6 - Feel like he misses Gallagher, another ball player alongside him.
Williams: 5 - Unfortunately, not one of his best games, couldn't get himself on the ball.
Green: 6 - Is a creative threat, his pace caused them problems, didn't always take the right option.
Taylor: 6 - Struggled after getting injured, had very little to work with, caused their defenders problems.
Bonne: 7 - Lifted the team when he came on, was clearly up for it, and went close with the header, should have stuck Taylor's cross away.
