    Jean couldn't have had a more fitting debut - 28 Mar 70 CAFC 0-5 Leicester City, with the manager Eddie Firmani sacked on the Sunday morning!!

    Very best wishes,Jean. I was at that Leicester game and was one of many who ran on the pitch afterwards. I managed to pat Len Glover on the back,a great hero of mine.But at least you then new the Charlton way at an early stage. Hope your enjoyment of Charlton has given you lots of happiness though over the years. A great club with great fans. And you are one of the best.
