A truly incredible talent and generous man. I went to an exclusive gig for about 50-60 music industry folk in NYC ahead of JP earning his honouree recognition in the US Songwriters Hall of Fame last June and I was blown away. I pray he pulls through.1

He's had a couple of serious bouts of cancer in recent years but got through them to be touring again.
After all the chemo/radiation therapy he must have had to endure, He's already shown real fighting qualities.
Let's hope that stands him in good stead.
