Actors including Mark Blum ("Desperately Seeking Susan"), Andrew Jack (Resistance General Caluan Ematt in Star Wars movies), Julie Bennett (voice artist in "The Yogi Bear Show"), comedian Ken Shimura and Chef Floyd Cardoz have also been taken away by Covid-19. American footballer Tom Dempsey, Atalanta footballer Zaccaria Cometti, ex Real Madrid footballer Goyo Benito, ex Atletico Madrid footballer José Luis Capón and Lancs CCC Chairman David Hodgkiss all lost their lives.
And, in politics, former Prime Ministers Nur Adde (Somalia) and Joachim Yhombi-Opango (Republic of Congo) have died of or with Covid-19.
