Nearest to the ground for an away boozer is a 10mins walk and it was a shithole.

Might make more sense to drink nearer the station, looks like some nice driking places, Im travelling down with someone fromSheff, so will ask him for suggestions.

cool, drop us a text to let us know. we're going by train anyway, so station suits us. there were pubs when we went to hillsbrough last season but can't for the life of me remember the names, just remember that some were decent and some were not. we stayed in a hotel before so we perhaps were in a different part of the city, but i remember a pedestrianised street and a few pubs up a small paved hill.

there was the howard opposite the station and then you went to one further up from the howard which was nice enough. there were a few of you in there.

till afterwards when all the hoodlums came along and the police closed all the pubs.
    have fun you two.

Had we have played with even the remotest conviction and desire at Hillsborough I'd most likely have made the trip again to Sheffield but last Saturdays performance was simply awful.
I have to drive there and back as well...bit of a hike and not cheap!!

I will see you there. Maybe the youngsters can do better than the loanees
  • There isn't really a decent pub near the ground but if you head up to West street/Division street there are loads of places. It's about 15 minute walk away from Brammel Lane and you rarely any bother unless it's Friday or Saturday night.

The Howard opposite the Station is always a safe bet due to it's proximity to the sation and the ground.
