First time posting on here. A good friend of mine at the club has told me parky was closing in on a deal to sign stern john this afternoon, expected to be announced tomorrow. unsure if perm or loan.

    Personally I would prefer Jackson from the Gills, I'm guessing we've dropped our interest for him, but hey we're not exactly in a position to choose, he must be better than Burton!!!

    Still on loan at Bristol City I believe.

    Done nothing whatsoever there. They are a half decent side. Imagine how bad he'll be with us.....

    Pretty sure he scored a few crucial goals last season to help Southampton stay up.

    In our position I don't think it would be a bad move, I'd be willing to bet he'd score more goals than Burton.
