What with the restrictions, and hotels shut or whatever. Catering and such like awkward. How does this kind of away game get managed?

In the Guardian today it said that Prem clubs would be encouraged to fly for longer distance games. Not sure if this would extend to Championship clubs.0

Guess its up to the club, hence why Leeds are fuming
Opening weekend they are away to Cardiff on Sunday at 12:00, they are saying that game should have been giving a 3pm slot in Saturday, because otherwise they either have to travel really early in the morning or risk staying overnight2 -
Who is likely to be the penalty taker now should we be awarded one?0

To Hull & back, sounds like a jolly boys outing.2

Cullen took and scored the last one we had against West Brom while Lyle was out. Bonne used to take them for Orient though so he might fancy themseth plum said:Who is likely to be the penalty taker now should we be awarded one?

Not all hotels are shut so they’ll probably find one to stay in I’d imagine.0

I heard that @Addickted is putting them up.0

I think it's down to the individual players. Don't they have to go in their own cars?0

I'd trust this fucker to take a penalty for my life even though he's younger than my son.ForeverAddickted said:

People may be worried about that, but he’s a great penalty taker. Used to take them for Brighton.1 -
Forster-Caskey is probably another option, took the penalty (albeit rather poorly) against Forest Green last seasonSage said:

the difficulties around hotel availability and their social distancing obligations will make any away game very problematic ..
it's been mooted that teams could use 2 coaches (i.e. charabancs) to travel to games. Whatever, an early morning 200 mile drive is not the ideal preparation for a VERY important game at Hull, who will, at least should be very fired up for this game as much as we will be0 -
A neighbour has stayed at a hotel all last week on a training course. Breakfast was help yourself cereal in individual packets. Other meals were not provided because of the virus but takeaways could be ordered in.Only 10 of them so plenty of room.0

bear in mind that a lot of hotels are advertising as 'open', BUT only for 'vital journeys' (with proof) or for 'vital personnel' (with proof) .. having said that, so far as we are all concerned, little is more 'vital' than us getting a result at 'UllElfsborgAddick said:Just in case the club are struggling to find anywhere.
