Edited following a night to reflect:
Phillips: 7.5 Comfortable performance, nothing he could do about the goals.
Lockyer: 6.5 He needs to get the ball back up field quicker, seems to take an age to pick a pass.
Pearce: 6 Ducked the header, was otherwise solid but ducking that header is a -1 offence. Unlucky with the audacious volley attempt.
Sarr: 8 cleared so many attacks up field and was constantly battling. Also that perfect slide tackle.
Matthews: 7.5 Benrahma only really created problems when he started attacking down our left in the second half.
Cullen: 6.5 Average game from him and gave away a 50/50 penalty. Hit the crossbar from the corner.
Field: 7 Better than I remember. Made of glass or just being protected? His and Williams substitutions made us weaker.
Forster-Caskey: 7 Good game, great headed assist. Worked hard and benefited the side.
Doughty: 7.5 Good player beautiful cross for the goal.
Williams: 7 Good player, helps break down the pressure with his constant falling over. Good ball to release Doughty.
Bonne: 7 Good game tonight didn't stop working. Got his goal. Needed more balls in to him.
Lapslie: 5 Sorry but I don't think George is cut out for this level. Like a downgrade equivalent to Field and a downgrade further on Pratley. Added little tonight and lost the ball often.
Pratley: 6 Okay performance, not the usual hard working battling performance.
Referee: 4 Really don't think that was a penalty. Cullen got the ball and it just so happened he caught the man after.
Oshilaja: n/a 5 Got done by the short corner, letting the ball in for the winner.
Morgan: n/a 6 Came on and worked hard getting forward and coming back to cover.

Forster-Caskey: 8 - What an excellent cushioned header for the goal. Showed tonight that he was nearly our POTY two years ago. Has a lot of class. Tired toward the end when we were reduced to chasing. But put in an absolute shift.
Doughty: 7 - Tired toward the end but was a great outlet on the left
Williams: 7.5 - Good on the ball in least shocking news of the night. Looked a vastly inferior team when he came off
Bonne: 7.5 - Great night from him. Great goal. Massive goal. And generally a lot of very smart running. No, the ball doesn't stick to him like it should. But a much improved performance for the last.
Lapslie: 5 - Yikes. He's just not good enough for this division yet. And tonight it showed. His touch isn't good enough, and he doesn't really have a position, plus he lacks physicality.
Pratley: 6 - Was there but was a big drop off from Field.
Referee: 4 - Should have sent off what's his name. Pen looked the right decision but the sending off should have been a simple decision.
