Phillips: 7 couldnt do much about the goals
    Lockyer: 8 solid
Pearce: 7 good and some bad
Sarr: 7.5 pretty solid and one of our best passers
    Matthews: 7.5 strong
Cullen: 6.5 busy but not his best n -0.5 as personally think it was a pen would of been going nuts if we hadn’t got it
Field: 7.5 was decent until another knock
Forster-Caskey: 7 done better than I thought +0.5 for assist still has quality but just seems a bit slow at times
Doughty: 7.5 tried and worked hard and helped create our goal
Williams: 8 motm for me the one player making things happen buzzing about until I’m guessing he tired, needs to start Saturday
Bonne: 7 better performance from him
    Lapslie: 6 standard lapslie
Pratley: 6 feel would of been better with field on if it had been possible
Referee: 4 started well good first half 2nd half massively in favour of Brentford with a few very dodgy free kicks against us n not given for us and they should of had 10 men for last 5mins but he bottled it

Oshilaja: n/a won a good header in box
Morgan: n/a want us to go for it start him and Williams and two up top Saturday
Aneke: n/a needs someone off him to work with or ball to feet more

Phillips: 7.5 - some good saves
Lockyer: 7 - solid in the face of intense pressure
Pearce: 7 - another sound performance
Sarr: 7 - some lovely passing out from the back
Matthews: 6.5 - had his work cut out against Benrahma, Henry and Dasilva in the first half (and thereafter) but did ok
Cullen: 6 - unlucky with the penalty. Totally committed, as ever, and one great last ditch table in the first half. Unable to stem Brentford's midfield dominance and help us to keep the ball as the game wore on, although the absence of an 'out ball' didn't help
Field: 7 - some good interceptions and kept things ticking over nicely. Let's hope he recovers from the knock and can stay fir for the last fortnight of the season
Forster-Caskey: 6 - did well, especially given his lack of game time
Doughty: 7 - our main attacking outlet
Williams: 7.5: MoM - a very impressive 55 minutes. Some good ball carrying, coupled with decent defensive work
Bonne: 6 - ploughed a lonely furrow on his tod. The goal will hopefully help restore some of his confidence
Lapslie: 5 - found it difficult to get into the game
Pratley: 6 - got a few decent blocks and tackles in but, like the rest of our midfield in the second half, he was unable to help us retain possession
Referee: 5 - a bit ropey towards the end

Referee: 4 Complete homer. For the first couple of games back we had decent referees. They're getting worse so I'm expecting the one for Reading to turn up in blue and white hoops

Phillips: 7.5, Not troubled for the most of the first part, had a few key saves and looked to have nearly earned us a point, good distrubution too ederson esque pass to Doughty was good
    Lockyer:7 Solid
    Pearce: 7 Solid
Sarr: 7.5, always feel we look better with him in the side, more comfortable bringing the ball out of attack
Matthews: 7.5, Solid at the back and gets forward well, good balance of attack/defence
Cullen: 7, Thought he started well but tired in the 2nd half, penalty was a tad harsh (seen them not given)
Field: 8, Really good at mopping up, also building up the play. Surprised he was taken off
Forster-Caskey: 7.5, Had a decent game going forward and worked hard
Doughty: 7.5, frightens other teams, needs to be more advanced though sometimes with a back 3 he has to chase back alot which i think takes a bit away going forward, a few good crosses and always looks our biggest threat when on the ball
Williams: 7.5 , class and works hard, always gets the ball and gets a foul. We always look better with him on the pitch quality on the ball and put in a shift too.
Bonne: 7, worked hard, pleased he got his first goal in a while, but dont think he really works on his own.
Lapslie: 6, i didn't really think he offered much, not terrible but didn't really add the energy intended.
Pratley: 6.5, Works hard, but again not much going forward. Crucial for some games but not today.
Referee: 6 - Looked to be ok, but towards the end gave a some decisions there way.

  • Phillips: 7 - Made a couple of good saves, spilt a swerving Benrahma shot, played one great pass to Doughty.
Lockyer: 7 - Blockyer was his typical self getting in the way of Brentford shots
Pearce: 6 - Hit the bar with a volley, got beaten for the second goal.
Sarr: 7 - The best of the back four, played a couple of great cross-field balls.
Matthews: 6 - Wasn't one of his best games, he did well first half, but was overrun in the second.
Cullen: 7 - Gave away the penalty unfortunately, was his usual busy self and made some crucial interceptions particularly in the first half.
Field: 8 - He bossed the midfield and gave them no time to settle, we were worse without him.
Forster-Caskey: 7 - Really good performance, pressed their midfield and got the assist.
Doughty: 7 - A great cross for the goal, but struggled playing in such a defensive position, would have liked to see him further forward in the second half.
Williams: 7 - He kept possession well, drew fouls and drove us on, we were noticeably worse without him and Field.
Bonne: 7 - Very little to work off of, took his chance well.
Lapslie: 5 - Offered very little, Henry beat him easily on a couple of occassions.
Pratley: 6 - Wasn't able to contain Benrahma, which is pretty difficult.
Referee: 6 - Hard to know what to give, the penalty was a marginal decision could have gone either way.

Phillips: 7.5 - some great saves to keep us in it. Wonder if he could have attacked the ball in for the second goal
    Lockyer: 7.5 - strong defending
Pearce: 8 played well, it was a tough game
Sarr: 8.5 - great defensive and offensive work by the Nabster
Matthews: 7.5 strong defending, didn’t get much chance to come forward
Cullen: 7 slightly anonymous, not up to his usual dominating self.
Field: 7.5 - did well before coming off, strong and more skilful than Pratley
Forster-Caskey: 7.5 some nice touches, faded
Doughty: 8.5 - great play from the lad in defence and attack. Shame we can’t get him to run at defenders more often as he is strong and quick
Williams: 8 - played well, clearly a skilful player who can draw fouls to win us kicks to break up opposition attacks. Shame he can’t play 90 mins.
Bonne: 8 did well in a thankless role where he didn’t win many headers. Nice goal.
Lapslie: 6 - didn’t really add much when he came on
Pratley: 7 - strong but not as creative as the player he replaced
Referee: 5 - some iffy decisions, including the pen and then not sending their guy off
