Following in the footsteps of Johnnie Jackson amongst others in having an academy to teach youngsters, you can imagine Pearce going into coaching after he retires

Hmm.......I can just see it now.
Lesson 1. How to grab your opponent & haul him to the floor.21 -
Love Pearce. Good luck to him.
He plays to his own strengths during the game but that doesn't mean that he can't coach/teach a different way.
Not all coaches/managers have teams in their own image.4 -
This is great, he always did seem to have an eye on the bigger picture. I wonder if he'll retire from playing in a year or two or if he'll spin it out for five more. A coaching career definitely feels like where he might achieve his greatest glories (see also Jacko and other similar legs-gone leaders of men
) - what certainly seems clear is that he will be staying in SE London for the foreseeable future! Him and Pratley are already on the seemingly never-ending Charlton coaching pathway 0 -
Giving a bit back to the community, like it.
Needs to sort out his website pronto though!1 -
Pearce, I suspect, would make an excellent coach and potentially a good manager in the future.1
