Agreed, i don't like criticising him but it's simple really, he has to score.Laddick01 said:
Usually I don’t agree with this kind of stuff but Bonne has genuinely had 3 very basic chances and converted none.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Bonne scores against Millwall, we possibly win the game (don't laugh) and we get at least a point.
Bonne scores the second against Birmingham, we win the game.
Bonne scores today we're 2-1 up.
3 big chances all missed and costing us survival. We’d be on the beach already with any decent forward.
Then again it's not his fault he was bought as one for the future and finds himself leading the line.0 -
Jamal Lowe is surely offside watching that first goal back?
Would love to know who was playing him on
Must have been as tight as the Aneke one last week0 -
Bonne a liability and Cullen doing his best to screw up his Wet Sham career in front of Moyes. And Lockyer having a mare. Apart from that......1

Not sure it was a penalty either, could have gone either way.
Knowing our luck we would have missed it though!
Bonne should have finished that, no excuse there. However he shouldn't be the only forward we have capable of scoring goals, he wasn't brought in to play every game and there's a reason for that.
Not sure we're going to score again, Wigan will shut up shop now and we will struggle to do anything against a team that will sit back.

Pearce got beat for pace for the 2nd goal. Cant let a low cross come in from there.0

Wigans 1st goal was an own goal by dill. Freak of a goal.2

That Bonne chance on the replay really is bad. It's hardly even a shot. If the keeper had his arms tied behind his back he'd have still made the save.4

It’s all just so very charlton isn’t it.
Deflated.5 -
Highlights are painful to watch tbh1

Given away two soft goals. Scored a good one. Yes Bonne should have scored but at least he made the keeper make a save, not should Hemed or Aneke would. Not a penalty for me. If that had been given against us we'd have been livid. Bonne and Davison working well together. A season defining 45 minutes to come. Can't see us scoring the at least two goals we need to win. Hope I'm proved wrong. Can see Wigan getting another anyway.0

He needed to hit it earlier. Marshall closed the gap on him.0

I wish occasionally our lads would shoot with some power.Leeds_Addick said:That Bonne chance on the replay really is bad. It's hardly even a shot. If the keeper had his arms tied behind his back he'd have still made the save.0 -
Taylor 11 goals. Bonne 10.No pens in Bonne’s total.6

Highlights show a definite penalty, left arm of their #2 was wrapped around the lad.0

Had it already crossed the line before Lowe got a touch though?ozaddick said:Wigans 1st goal was an own goal by dill. Freak of a goal.
If Lowe touches it before it crosses the line then it should be offside if thats the case? - As it is BBC currently have him down as the scorer, not Phillips0 -
Both of their goals Doughty is absolutely nowhere defensively, I get that he's a wingback, and he scored the goal from getting forward, but he hasn't given any support to Sarr all game3

Second goal was a team effort. Lockyer the most exposed for me. Will watch again with interest.Off_it said:
Like the first goal you mean?Briston_Addick said:
Sarr's fault at the end but the cross shouldn't have been allowed to be made in the first place.colthe3rd said:Sarr's fault that one.
Cullen should have dealt with it before it became a problem. Lockyer then didn't have the pace to keep up and again we're vulnerable to a simple simple cross1 -
Albie and Williams on0

You'd have thought that every striker scores every chance they get. Jamie Vardy sometimes misses one on onesWheresmeticket? said:I find it hard to stomach the slagging off of Bonne. He should not have been put in the position of being our only / #1 striker. He has n't been prepped for it and he has still scored what? 10 goals this season? I hope we can hold on to him because next year I think he will be a better player. Certainly if we DO go down he will be class for L1. In my opinion, obvs.

Looks like Field and JFC are off, Morgan and Williams are on.
