Because we'll still be above them0 -
Of course, Bonne should be converting his clear cut chances.
But his movement and anticipation is at least getting him into goalscoring positions, that other players are not doing.

No height in the midfield now, but a bit more pace and creativity0
-
Field has more glass in him than Williams1

Just watching the first half highlights ...
Wigan's first goal ... scorer looked offside.
Bonne's chance ... keeper started to come forward to narrow the angle, defender closing in on Macca from his outside so probably in the corner of his eye which prompted his early shot.
Penalty incident ... Reading got a pen like that against us last week.
Wigan's second goal ... catalogue of errors: poor challenge in midfield let them break forward, Matthews beaten too easily to allow the cross in, no-one able to get close to it.1 -
If we we had a crowd their today I'm not convinced we would have equalised, as the dogs abuse and booing would have still been loud after the two minutes since Wigan's goal.
Gutted for Naby as that may have been assist of the season if MB had put that good chance away.
No Field for 2nd half. How many black cats does Bowyer run over ?1 -

It's the sheer amount he misses that gets him criticisedkillerandflash said:
You'd have thought that every striker scores every chance they get. Jamie Vardy sometimes misses one on onesWheresmeticket? said:I find it hard to stomach the slagging off of Bonne. He should not have been put in the position of being our only / #1 striker. He has n't been prepped for it and he has still scored what? 10 goals this season? I hope we can hold on to him because next year I think he will be a better player. Certainly if we DO go down he will be class for L1. In my opinion, obvs.3 -
Luton and Hull are Salivating right now1

Unless Field and FC are injured I really dont understand those substitutions.0

Leaving us needing something at Leeds. Better than nothing I guess but not exactly massive.ForeverAddickted said:

Can't get the stream or commentary so please keep updates coming..1

Who do you bring on if Pearce goes off?
I'd go Oshilaja, put him at left back and play 4 at the back, Doughty moves forward with Morgan on the opposite side0 -
Yeah but they do that in Luton and Hull anyway. It's a genetic thing.Indianaaddick said:Luton and Hull are Salivating right now7 -
Williams loses the ball in midfield and Wigan stream forward, but Lockyer heads clear.

Phew, Wigan hit the side netting.

50' SIDE NETTING! Brilliant build-up play again! Latics so patient in the final third, ends up on the left with Lowe and Dowell, fed into the box by the latter, Lowe with a lovely turn, but he drives his shot wide! (1-2)0

We look poor at the start of this half. I'd get Bonne off he isn't going to score today0
-
Cullen overhits his pass to Matthews slightly who heads out for a Wigan goal kick
