What would we like to see for the living to remember those lost?

I'm always impressed by Australian Memorial Avenues of trees remembering their war dead.

Almost all British villages have simple stone memorials.

Gardens, hospitals, schools even stadiums could be named in remembrance.

There are moves to commemorate key workers, not least our remarkable NHS, at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

    Great place.
Always attend 3 events every year there.
Was hoping. For more local scale memorials.
None for the largely forgotten Spanish Flu.
