I used to love the slam doors on the trains. Being able to open & jump in as the train was pulling away. The solo carriages.

    Nostalgia.
  • Tube trains on the Isle of Wight seems interesting
Never imagined a tube line there
The steam trains on the Isle are great though

Cheers for the tip off. Very timely for me as, after 7 months of living alone during a global pandemic, I have now watched every single conventional pornographic film available on the internet, so pretty desperate for some new material.
Whadda'ya mean by conventional? I've got some stuff book marked you probably haven't seen.

I have this weird picture in my mind of what MrLargo considers to be "conventional" porn.

    Do I need help?

Well I'm quite open-minded Mike so, for your own mental wellbeing, it's probably best you don't give it too much thought!

This thread reminds me of the early days of puberty before things got too hardcore.

I reckon I have. My interpretation of "conventional" has broadened quite a bit over the last few months.

The "milf" section on Xhamster has 18,026 pages, and I finished that category on 19 March. The "Celebrity" section has 2,096 pages - completed 21 March. Basically, I'd finished all the stuff that I used to class as "conventional" by mid-April.

As an aside, it gives me no pleasure at all to tell you that Denise Van Outen and Britney Spears have apparently both fallen on hard times. I was also very surprised to learn that Claudia Schiffer seemingly didn't earn enough from her catwalk career to retire on.
  • I can’t believe I’ve just googled ‘MILF’. What about older folk without children? Asking for a friend.

Standing leaning on the slide down window with a can of beer looking out over the river as we pulled out of Charing Cross - doesn't seem that long ago...

I love that title: ‘Volume 2 - The Details’. It’s hard to imagine anything more niche.

Let me be clear, I'm not into trains...

First job was in the city and started in 1989 -  used to get the train in from Kidbrooke or Lewisham and the carriages had real character. Petty sure some of the rolling stock was still early post war and the big cushioned seats, the individual carriages and the slam doors had real character. Loved standing by the door and leaning out of the pull down window in the summer all the way from London Bridge back to Lewisham  (followed by the 21) or Kidbrooke (with a bit of a walk through The Ferrier).
  • First job in 1977 entailed travelling from Eltham Well Hall to Charing Cross and back every day. Sometimes the slam door stock would have a guards compartment on the back carriage and occasionally the door to the drivers compartment at the back of the train would be unlocked. Sitting looking directly back down the tracks gave a much more interesting perspective on the journey.

Lovely shot of a Black 5.  Did my last firing turn on one of them, can't remember the number now though. A driver I once worked with told me "Working a steam engine was like making love to a beautiful woman, you start her up very gently, work on her very smoothly, and once you have got her going, ride her as hard as you can".
