whilst motors seem to be the theme of the day, anyone know of any reliable garages that would carry out helicoiling?

    Is it to do with your cars exhaust system / manifold?

    Know a couple of places in my neck of the woods (Surrey/Sussex borders) but that's probably not much help! If you've got the head off small engineering firms will often do it for you on the cheap but if a garage has to do it life can be e xpensive depending on the type of car. Is the spark plug still in there or did the thread come out with it?
