Goal of the season (so far)

I know it's a bit early but for a season that has been pretty bloody awful so far we have been blessed with some terrific goals this season.

1. Matt Spring against Palarse. Apart from the fact he scored against the grannybashers in was a phenomenally well taken goal. Definitely top goal of the season.
2. Racon V Plymouth. From where I was sitting in the North stand I could see the curling dipping movement, when I saw it on the highlights it looked even better.
3. Bouazza v Reading. Lovely bit of build up play, left footed half volley from a terrific run.

Hopefully there'll be more.

I've seen a bigger selection of crackers this season then I think I've ever seen at the valley. Baileys would be the pick of the bunch for me.

Racon and Bailey hard to choose from!

I'd say Bailey's was good but Racons was beautiful - (maybe because i remember it better)
  • Jonjo v norwich in cup, that was a lovely finish.

    Bouazza at Brum for me.

Strange isn't it that a player most didn't like has got three different goals nominated as goal of the season.

That was the thing with Bouazza though, could suddenly turn it on and create magic, but the majority of the time couldn't be arsed.

    Bouazza v Reading for me.
Just a really good move with a good finish as well.

Ambrose v Norwich for the importance of it.

There's been a surprising number when you think about it.

    Bailey Wolves
    Boo Reading
    Boo Sheff U
    Racon Plymouth

Could I add Spring's goal at Wednesday. It was utterly pointless but a lovely strike.

I'd agree with all of those but if there were a poll you'd have to include Springs goal against Palace.
