Hamer wasn't offered an improved deal so signed for Leicester the same week that Kasper Schmeichel signed a new long contract.
I asked Ben Roberts the keeper coach.
Q. Has Ben Hamer gone to Leicester for ambition and feels he can be the Number 1?
A. No, Ben has gone for the money as unless Kasper gets injured he won't play other that a possible League cup game.
