I'm inclined to agree.
Whilst we can't all live in rose-tinted land I feel there are not enough constructive points made on here. There is too much knee-jerk reaction.
None of us on here are professional footballers so we can't begin to imagine the stresses and pressures they have to endure - yes they get well paid but how would you stand up to having 20,000 people moaning and sighing every time you press the wrong key on your keyboard or make a mistake....
I think place is probably well known to the players and would like to think that the players might read it with tongue firmly placed in cheek - but I would also hope that the players can take something constructive from some of the comments.
It would be great if a couple of players signed up and gave us an insight to professional footballers life - I wonder if anyone on here can reach out to the players and see what they think. I, for one, would think Rob Elliot would be keen to sign up being an Addick and also since he is living the dream.

It would be great to have players signed up but while people might be polite to Rob Elliot (while he's in the team and doing well at least) it would be hard for anyone to read through regular abuse of their work colleagues and/or mates especially when it is so absolute and personal. For example a player had a bad game/misses a sitter there is little "so and so had a bad game" but a lot of "so and so is s*** and must be sold"0 -
