  • We shouldve been out of sight in that 1st half hour
  • I wouldn't like to be these lads going in to see Bows at half time

Fleetwood have a free kick on the front edge of the centre circle

They'll all be trying to hide behind Inniss. Who can he hide behind?

Nothing comes of it in the end, as they over hit the ball for our goal kick.

The link buffers for a minute and it's 2-2 !
So it was all your fault then?

I saw Evans turn and shoot, the screen buffers and suddenly Fleetwood have 2 goals for 1 shot at goal!  When did that rule change come in.

Their first goal was nice to be fair. The second was a bit sloppy.
  • Excitement a plenty. The shutout comes to an end in catastrophic fashion. Time for Coach Bowyer to work out a plan.

I hate two goal leads when there is still so long to play... For some reason it always feels an easier scoreline to get back into than a 1-0 lead!!

Shame, but otherwise that was a brilliant first half from Charlton, cant take that away from them for the large part

How quickly your mood can change when you’re a football fan...
  • Oddly optimistic. Bad sign.

Fixed that for you. They've never played there before.

HALF-TIME | The Addicks were well in control until a crazy 90 seconds got the visitors back in it. A big 45 still to come... #cafc

Still only two points off second with a game in hand. We'll score again in this half - let's hope it's more than they do. :-)

Their first goal would have been cleared if Inniss had looked even once at where the ball was! It passed him by about a foot. Hard to adjust to look around tbf

Sure that was a great watch for a neutral, not that there probably was any
  • Sandgaard is rubbing his hands. Just what the owner ordered. Same again second half and a late winner for 5-4 result.

Tremendous game so far. Our best performance in terms of passing, movement, transition play and attacking. Best opponents so far too. Their second goal looked like a foul on Purrington but, however much we might not like Evans, you can't deny that he is a top finisher.

All to play for. If we can beat these I''ll really start to believe we can get promotion. Come on you Reds.
  • I felt too when it went 2-0 that it felt a bit weird seeing that we've historically struggled a bit against Fleetwood

Their first goal was shit defending. If Inniss had watched the flight of the ball instead turning away to see where Evans was, he could have easily headed it away.
  • A half of two halves there.

Not sure if Fleetwood changed it up, but the they moment they seemed to stop Shinnie getting on the ball they started to look the far better team.

Not that Morgan has done bad, but I'd like to see Smyth or Maddison come on for him. Give them something else to think about down that side.
